Our teaching hospital is part of the Vet Tech Nursing Academy. We have state of the art equipment to help our soon to be Registered Veterinary Technicians learn the clinical skills to provide the best care for your pet. Our compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarians offer a variety of specialty services, as well as primary care for animals. Our students are under the direct guidance of school faculty and veterinarians to assist with all medical treatments and procedures. Each student is closely supervised by a veterinarian in order to ensure that the student receives proper training and to provide the best possible care to patients.

GET TRAINED TO GET YOUR DREAM JOB AS A VETERINARY NURSE.
Veterinary Technician Nursing Academy (VTNA) is designed to educate individuals on the basic concepts and principles of veterinary medicine, and adequately prepare each student to successfully pass the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE). The courses are designed to offer working assistants or unlicensed technicians a pathway to fulfill the educational requirements to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE). VTNA offers and meets the educational requirements, under the California Alternate Route, to sit for the VTNE. Applicants must have two years of documented experience as a veterinary assistant (4416 hours) with a California licensed veterinarian within a five-year period.
VTNA students will be exceptionally prepared for the Veterinary Technician National Exam. At VTNA we strive for our students to learn important qualities such as compassion, quality care, respect, and integrity for our patients and the families who love them.
